Facility Safety: Fire Safety

Sentry Insurance Facility Fire SafetyKeeping buildings, machinery and premises safe is essential to the success of printing facilities.

These common scenarios show typical safety hazards found in printing facilities:

• A painted concrete floor becomes very slippery around a recycling baler where paper dust is generated
• A customer walks from the parking lot and trips and falls on loose asphalt
• Racking is installed without being secured to the wall and floor. Damage to a corner post by a forklift causes the racking to tip and collapse.
